Hulstrom K-8’s Inaugural iSTEM Fair!

Sign up to participate in Hulstrom K-8’s iSTEM Fair which will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019.  iSTEM is an acronym for Invention, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  Research/inquiry projects in any of these areas will be displayed in this fair.  Students in any grade level can participate!  Cash prizes will be awarded in each category!

When:  Thursday, November 21, 2019

Where:  Hulstrom K-8 Gymnasium

Who:  Students in grades K-8 can submit a project for the fair.  Students may register as an individual, as a group of 2, or as a group of 3 max.  Each student must turn in their own application form/permission slip and non-refundable $3 fee.

What:  Students create projects related to a scientific experiment, an invention of their own design, or a problem involving technology, engineering, or mathematical thinking.  Each project must have a display board to summarize the project findings.  Students will explain their project and what they learned to a judge.

How:  Students will present their projects to judges and fellow students.  Cash prizes will be awarded in each category!  Certificates and ribbons will be presented to all participating students.
