Our Principal

Judi Madsen

My journey in Adams 12 began at the age of 5 when I enrolled as a kindergarten student at Malley Drive Elementary.  After Malley, I continued on to Northeast Junior High and graduated from Northglenn High School in 1984.  Go Norse!  As a proud district graduate, I decided to begin my career in Adams 12 as a teacher at Thornton Elementary and later Thornton Middle School.  My leadership journey began at Westview Elementary in 2001.  In 2006, I had the incredible opportunity to open a brand new school, later named Silver Creek Elementary.  2015 brought me to Hulstrom K-8 as the new principal and I'm proud to be part of such an amazing community.

My three children (Andrew, Molly, and Jenny) graduated from Legacy High School in 2006, 2011, and 2013.  Go Lightning!

In my spare time I like to read, camp, travel, and visit with my family and friends.  In addition, I run a non-profit charity called The Power of One Charity.  The proceeds of the charity go directly to students in the Adams 12 Five Star School District in the form of college scholarships.  Since 2010, $70,000 has been awared to Adams 12 Five Star high school seniors.
