Social Emotional Information
Gifted children have unique needs across the board, and a critical area is the area of social emotional or affective development. At Hulstrom, our focus is on the whole child, and with our social emotional/affective development, we support students with self-awareness and self-understanding and provide strategies to assist with executive functioning, perfectionism, building and maintaining healthy relationships, and so much more. Our specialized programming builds as students progress through Hulstrom, and our highly trained staff supports each child in using their strengths to focus on their areas of needs in healthy, productive ways.
